Tamar Castle Nr Saltash, Cornwall

We were a group of 20 friends who have known each other for 45 years. We have reunions every two years, so have stayed in many places - this time it was unanimous that Tamar was the best venue we have visited. There are so many positive things to say! One special feature is that guests are genuinely left to use the house as if it is their own. I have never come across this before and it was a wonderful feeling.

My family and I had a wonderful time during our long weekend. The venue is first class; beautiful, elegant, comfortable, spotlessly clean and extraordinarily well-equipped. The gardens are glorious, the staff are courteous yet friendly, and a special mention must be made of your efforts to accommodate guests with limited mobility. My adored brother in law is in the advanced stages of progressive MS and was able to enjoy the weekend along with the rest of us. That was extremely important to me.
