Penpol Mevagissey, Cornwall

Just a short note to thank you for a wonderful stay at Penpol House last week..we all had the most wonderful time, the weather was kind to us and we had a wonderful welcome from the pubs and restaurants of Mevagissey. Our young springer Bodie had a brilliant time in the gardens and the house…he particularly liked the sunrise by morning and the wood burner by night. We will be back again..thank you!

I wanted to send a personal note to say thank you to you and your team for hosting us at Penpol House last week. As a family get-together celebrating some big birthdays it was the perfect venue to enjoy all catching up and exploring magical Mevagissey. From sitting in the sunshine on the fabulous terrace overlooking the harbour and exploring the beautifully kept garden to cooking in the well stocked kitchen and relaxing by the open fire and then sinking into the comfiest beds at night, Penpol House had everything we needed for a glorious week of relaxation. The location was perfect to stroll into Mevagissey and sample all the brilliant independent shops, cafes and restaurants (so dog friendly too!) and to explore nearby Fowey and the stunning walks along the coastal path with the promise of a soak in one of Penpol's roll top baths afterwards. The little touches were lovely, a delicious Cornish cream tea when we arrived, luxurious complimentary toiletries and some dog bones for our furry family friend Buster were all much appreciated. We look forward to hopefully visiting again soon and maybe seeing Mevagissey at another time of year. Thanks again to you and your team.

It's a gorgeous house and setting. Setting nice, house super comfortable and well equipped, went to beaches, Heligan and St Mawes this time.

From start to finish we have had an amazing experience with the WOW House company. Emma was very helpful and answered all the questions I had. The house its self was amazing and very clean. It had everything we needed to have a fabulous few days with friends. Amanda and Sharon were very easy to get hold of if we had any questions and came back with details of things like nice places to eat very quickly. I will definitely be booking with you again in the near future!! Thank you wow house team.

We thought the house was wonderful and really enjoyed it. It was brilliantly equipped and very easy - thankfully we are familiar with Agas and we enjoyed our week thoroughly.

We had the most incredible stay and wedding at Polpier and Penpol. It couldn't have been a more perfect venue for a family holiday and wedding in one. The grounds and amenities are spectacular and there is nothing more we could've asked for. The views are stunning and magical to wake up to every morning. Both adults and children had the best time during our stay and we would very much like to return in the very near future. The cream teas on arrival were a wonderful welcome. Couldn't be more thankful for everyone who made or wedding and stay at Polpier house so amazing.
