We had a fabulous time at South Downs House. The house is very well designed and equipped, and in a wonderful location. Great pub nearby, and great walks from the bottom of the garden. The swimming pool was particularly popular with all ages. All in all, a perfect place for a family holiday.

South Downs House is an amazing property. The lay out is very family friendly. The children absolutely loved the pool and were in it every single day for many hours. The pool is a real plus given the vagaries of the U.K. weather! The owner was really helpful when we arrived and explained how everything worked.

Our stay at South Downs House was very enjoyable. We had four grandchildren with us who thoroughly enjoyed having a pool always available and they made good use of it. The weather was kind to us so we could go for walks and the easy access to the old railway path was very convenient. We walked to Wickham which was about an hour each way. We managed the cooking well and the facilities in the kitchen were satisfactory for all our needs.

We had a wonderful stay at South Downs House. The house was extremely comfortable, huge spaces and very well equipped and the indoor pool a godsend in the unseasonal wet and windy weather. We had a great weekend at South Downs House. It was the perfect place for a family get together to celebrate a Golden Wedding. There was plenty of space inside and out and was very well equipped. Everyone wanted to stay longer!

Wow is an excellent way to describe this house. Our family (of 10) from our 1 year old grandson to us aged grandparents had a wonderful stay. The house is exactly as you see in the pictures. The kitchen is very well equipped with ample crockery and cutlery. The linen is a very good quality with plenty of towels in each room. The 90' TV is brilliant for watching sporting events! The pool is fabulous, exceptionally clean and well equipped with a variety of toys for the children. The owners are so helpful. The house has so many facilities that even after 7 days we weren't able to take advantage of them all. We will return.

We had a fantastic time at South Downs House. Incredibly impressive, a real pleasure to spend time in. All the rooms were gorgeous and the swimming pool/sauna was out of this world. On a very wet weekend, we barely left the house, but this didn't matter, as the pool, games room and choice of comfy sofas kept us very occupied! Certainly the best house we have ever rented and we cant wait to come back as soon as we can!
