THE ACCOMMODATION
The Hidden Lodge offers cosy accommodation for up to 2 guests in a spacious double bedroom, while also featuring an inviting mezzanine bedroom with 2 single beds and a comfortable futon. This charming retreat, originally built over 200 years ago, has undergone meticulous renovation, preserving its authentic Devonshire charm. With its enduring stone walls, rustic wooden beams, and a stunning solid oak and glass staircase, the lodge exudes timeless character.
Ground Floor
Dining and living area: this modern dining and living area boasts a spacious ambiance, featuring a sizable glass-fronted log burner, elegant Italian tiles, and cozy under-floor heating. Additionally, a dining table accommodates up to six guests comfortably.
Kitchen: a cutting-edge kitchen featuring striking exposed stonewalls, a spacious glass gas hob, seamlessly integrated microwave, convenient washer/dryer, efficient dishwasher, and a high-performance electric oven.
Bathroom: the lavishly appointed bathroom boasts exquisite design, complete with atmospheric mood lighting, a luxurious double shower, and elegant fixtures including a toilet and washbasin.
First Floor
Double bedroom: spacious, sunlit loft-style retreat featuring stunning treetop and meadow vistas. Equipped with blackout blinds, a television, and a DVD player.
Mezzanine area: featuring twin beds, a TV, DVD player, and Xbox gaming console, perfect for a comfortable stay for children. Accessible through a convenient door, it opens up to a charming hardwood decking area outdoors.
Grounds
The Hidden Lodge is well secluded in 4 acres of private grounds including woodland and a freshwater fishing lake (only 70 metres away) - an ideal romantic hideaway and perfect for lovers of fishing and the countryside. There are spectacular vistas of the roaming countryside and plenty of parking is available on the driveway. For relaxing there is a cedar wood hot tub.
The Hub
A remarkable and captivating entertainment haven, just a few steps from the lodge, boasts cutting-edge technology, including a 4K 3D Ultra HD projector, the latest Dolby Atmos sound system, and an expansive 5-metre diameter screen. It's equipped with an Xbox gaming console, an Ultra HD Blu-ray player, and a Smart Enabled 50 Inch HDTV with Freeview.
The Hub also provides four sets of 3D glasses and a curated selection of games and movies to kick-start your enjoyment. You can seamlessly connect your personal devices through the guest port on the Media amp, which interfaces with the projector via an HDMI cable (please remember to bring your own). Additionally, a retro arcade machine with over 4000 classic games, complete with two stools for 2-player mode, adds a nostalgic touch.
Outside, a charming patio awaits, furnished with a garden bench and table.
